Affiliate Marketing is a new media platform whereby the merchant or client only pays for the desired action on a commission per sale basis. Advertised via a network of affiliates who earn on a commission per action basis, affiliates could be paid for any of the following: Driving a new web visitor to a site, getting a user to fill in a registration or even through to point of purchase or a sale.
