The Rathbone Story
Rathbone Media Limited (RML) was set up in 1991 by Geoff Cole, a former Director of Saatchi and Saatchi. After nearly a quarter of a century with Saatchi, Geoff Cole decided it was time to create his own Media agency. With that, he retired from the London Advertising scene and chose Shenfield in Essex as the base for Rathbone Media.
Geoff originally planned to create a small advertising agency focusing on just a few, select clients but due to the media mentality and advertising techniques that he brought to the fledgling media agency, success came quickly and it became apparent that he would need more likeminded advertising people.
